The City of SeaTac Public Works Department will host an Open House on Thursday, January 7, at City Hall from 5:30 to 7:30 PM providing residents an opportunity to view the final draft of improvement plans for 42nd Avenue S. Sidewalk Project. No formal presentations will be made, therefore residents are encouraged to drop-in at any time during the Open House where City staff will be available to answer questions about the design and construction of this project aimed at improving pedestrian safety and mobility for residents and students of the schools in the neighborhood. If you are unable to attend the open house, the city website will also provide access to the maps and drawings presented at the meeting. Construction is expected to begin in spring and be complete prior to the start of the 2010/11 school year.
