Let's Celebrate!

Independence Day is one of the most festive holidays in the United States, and as such, it's a great time to be at Angle Lake.

The community will celebrate by hosting a large Fourth of July fireworks display, patriotic parade, live music at the park, dock decoration contest and street and open water races. To help ensure you don’t miss a minute of the fun and entertainment, download a copy of the schedule of events and locations map HERE.

Respect and observe our laws:
It is illegal for anyone to discharge personal fireworks anywhere within SeaTac city limits.

Please consider the money you'd typically spend on personal fireworks and donate it toward the public display instead. A contribution form is available for download HERE.

An event of this size cannot be done without the help and cooperation of many people. A special and sincere thank you is given to each of the volunteers who have donated their time in helping to plan and coordinate these events, go door to door in their effort to collect fireworks fund donations and to all our Shore Club members who have contributed financially, thank you for your support!

Have a Happy and Safe 4th of July.

Link Light Rail - Link the World

While Sea-Tac Airport is historically known as our region’s gateway to the world – the Sound Transit Plaza at the Angle Lake light rail station will transform into a portal opportunity to “Link the World”

Link the World is the latest cultural event offered by the SeaTac City Parks and Recreation Department. The festival will feature music and present educational entertainment from the various corners of the world, a variety of area artists will display their creative works of art, and several local Food Innovation Network vendors will be offering affordable sample ethnic dishes for spectators to try!

The event is free to attend. Free parking in the garage while space available on a first come basis, else get out and enjoy a short walk to the station located at 19955 28th Ave South.

Bring a chair with you if you plan to stay for the entertainment.

Off Lake Info: Elevator Outage

If you access the Sea-Tac airport terminal from the Sound Transit 176th Street ‘kiss-n-fly’ passenger drop-off, please note that the elevator at this location will be out of service for an extended period.

The elevator connecting International Boulevard and the SeaTac/Airport LINK station is in need of major repairs and will close June 17th for two months. The stairs will remain open. For those with accessibility needs, a shuttle will run between International Boulevard and S 176th St. and the Arrivals loop of the Airport door 8.

Shuttle Info
  • Catch the shuttle at the bus stop adjacent to the elevator at IB and 176th and at the Arrival Terminal at door 8 on level 3.
  • Get shuttle status updates or stop location information call 360-543-9380.
  • Note that priority access to the shuttle will be given to individuals and parties with mobility devices such as wheelchairs, walkers, and crutches.
  • The Shuttle will be operated fare-free.
Or you may instead choose to purchase a one-way trip departing from the Angle Lake station to arrive at the Airport Terminal.

The elevator is expected to resume service mid-August. Updates on this improvement project, when available, will be posted here.
