Aloft Hotels around the world are widely recognized as incubators for emerging musical talent. Regularly hosting live music evenings in their W XYZ® bars featuring local up-and-coming artists as part of the brand’s “Live@Aloft” music program. Many locations have now also become thriving music destinations for touring musicians seeking an opportunity to use the W XYZ® bar as a performance space to introduce their music to new audiences.

The Aloft Hotel SeaTac is quickly gaining notoriety as the go-to place for music makers to hook up with music fans. There is no better place near Angle Lake to relax after a long day than the WXYZ Bar, the on-site lounge at the Aloft Hotel. A place offering refreshing, handcrafted cocktails and small bites; free billiards, tabletop shuffleboard, and board games; and you'll find it all in the comfort within the vibrant décor. Now, in addition to good digs there’ll be great vibes to enjoy as well!

Each Wednesday and Thursday evening throughout the month of January between the hours of 6 and 9 PM a new artist will be featured each of these evenings. Stop by WXYZ bar and enjoy an evening of live music, amazing drink specials, and tasty appetizers.

Bring food or money to help replenish the Highline Food Bank depleted by holiday demand. Get a raffle ticket for your donation. Fabulous prizes will be raffled. You can earn multiple raffle tickets: one for your food bank donation, one for wearing a costume and one for taking the plunge.

A special grand prize goes to the best costume of the New Year.

Santa's Christmas Cruise Photos!

Just in time for the holidays, photos from the Santa Cruise are here, available for you to share with your friends and family!

Santa and his elf helpers visited over 75 kids at a total of 10 stops around Angle Lake including the Mobile Home Park and for the first time, 15 children from the Landing Apartments. At each of these stops, our neighbor Jennifer Marcum captured some fantastic photos of the children and their families enjoying their special visit with Santa. 

The trip this year was an extra memorable one for Santa. He was able to stop by and pay his respects to a recently departed close friend on the lake, Russ Austin. His tribute was to set a lake flare ablaze on a wooden float similar to what Russ has been noted for supporting every year for the Angle Lake Fourth of July Fireworks. Other special moments were the children gathered at the Louvier’s dock greeting Santa with a joyous chorus of Christmas Carols.

According to ALSC President, Lonnie Goulet, this was the best outing in the 8 years the cruise has been operating. “The gal at the Landing Apartments was the most pleasant surprise.” Lonnie commented, “You ask me what the difference was this year that got the kids to turn out and my answer is simple. It was the extra effort put in this year by both Diane at the Mobile Home Park and Ashley at the Landing Apartments. They took the extra time to go door-to-door and get people committed to showing up to meet Santa.” 

As you’ll see from the photos taken, it was a good turn out and evident that all involved had a great time.  And with that, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a truly joyous New Year!

Santa Is On His Way!

While our days grow colder, things are really starting to heat up at the North Pole! Toyshop shifts are running full tilt and around the clock. And while this leaves little time for the elves to do anything else, take confidence in knowing they have everything under complete control – enough so to allow time for Santa to plan his visits to his most favorite place on earth – Angle Lake!

Santa looks forward to these special visits each year, an opportunity to meet and greet with the children around the lake. And what better way to do that than onboard a festooned pontoon boat.

Santa will be stopping by Angle Lake on Saturday, December 14th with the first visit scheduled for 5:00 PM. If there are any kids at your household who are anxious to see Santa, please plan to gather at any one of the assigned docks. Click the image below to download a copy of the map and times.

An Elegant Affair! December 7th.

The annual Angle Lake Shore Club Members Only Christmas Party is scheduled for Saturday, December 7th. If you plan to attend, purchase your tickets before Monday, November 25th to SAVE $5.00 off the regular $45 admission price.

The Christmas Party is a wonderful opportunity to dress to the nines in your finest Christmas Attire; visit with familiar neighbors and meet new members; share the fun times that were had at this past year’s club events!

Included with your price for admission is a delicious catered Buffet Style Dinner with an open bar. We’ll again announce Mr. and Mrs. Christmas Award to the person/couple who best represents Community Giving on Angle Lake. Come dressed in your best holiday outfit!

This is a private party for Angle Lake Shore Club Members Only of current standing and their invited guests.
