2018 ALSC Fishing Derby

Good Food, Great Fun, Amazing Prizes and Fishing, too!
7:00 AM - 12:00 Noon: Derby Closes
11:30 AM - 1:00 PM: Picnic Luncheon
1:00 PM - 2:00 PM: Prize Awards and Raffle Drawing

If you’ve attended past Angle Lake Shore Club Fishing Derby’s, you’re already aware that this event is about so more than just fishing – it’s about providing an opportunity for neighbors to meet one another and building a greater sense of community around the lake.

A single $5 Raffle Ticket purchase is required to participate in the event. The ticket entitles the purchaser:

Entry into the Fishing Competition. Largest Trout wins $118 Cash! Other material prizes will be awarded per predetermined age, gender and species category.
NOTE: Twisted Lake, Twisted Rules! Largest fish is based on length. Longest fish wins top prize. In the event of a tie, the next longest fish wins the prize!  Full details are available for review on the Flyer.

Food. A continental breakfast will be available at 7:00 AM at the host site (Goulet Beach Post 21) and a barbecue lunch consisting of hot dogs, hamburgers, fixings and sides will also be provided. Plus, dine on a giant salmon flown in fresh from Alaska, donated by Roger and Lisa May!

Prizes. This year our grand prize is going to be fabulous! Ask your ticket sellers for details. In addition we’ll also have numerous other prizes like Bowling Tickets for 10 donated by the Highline Bowl in Burien, Event Tickets for the ever popular Tasty Tapas and the Member only exclusive Christmas Party. Cedarbrook Lodge, recipient of numerous national and international awards for excellence, has also donated several exciting prizes, too!

Fun. We will have fun activities for young family members to participate in for candy and small prizes, or other games of skill. You'll never know what our creative genius Jim Todd will conjure up this year!

No need to imagine – you get all of that for Just $5! However, you can improve your chances of winning a raffle prize while also increasing your support of the community (monies collected cover event expenses with all surplus funds benefiting our other programs like the Polar Plunge, Bunny Hop, Santa Cruise, etc.)

Tickets are available for purchase as follows:
$5 = 1 Ticket
10 = 3 Tickets
15 = 5 Tickets
20 = 10 Tickets
