This summer Sound Transit is expected to release a request for proposals (RFP) for development of a transit oriented facility on the property located on the northeast corner of 26th Avenue South and South 200th Street, next to the existing Sound Transit Angle Lake Station and Park & Ride Facility.
The first step in the RFP process is to collect input from local stakeholders and residents on the types of development are considered priority for the area. For instance there may be a strong preference for more retail or entertainment spaces, affordable housing for artists or any other various uses. Your feedback is vital in guiding Sound Transit staff to evaluate the most preferred future development proposals so the highest quality development can occur next to the Angle Lake Light Rail Station resulting in essential access for residents and workers between Angle Lake and the rest of the region.
Residents, commuters, and others with an interest in this RFP are encouraged to stop by Sound Transit's information table, located on the Angle Lake Station Plaza next to the parking garage, on April 26 and May 2 between 4 and 7 p.m.
