42nd Ave South Sidewalk Work Has Begun

The City of SeaTac has recently release a construction announcement declaring work on the new sidewalks has begun on east side of 42nd Avenue South between South 176th Street and South 188th Street and will continue until November 2010.  Please observe all construction signs, be mindful of flaggers and anticipate delays when traveling through this area.  Also note that parking will be restricted through normal hours of construction during weekdays.

The 42nd Avenue Street investment is part of the 20-year program initiated in May 2008 to construct twelve miles of sidewalk throughout the City (see map).  This annual program is incorporated in the City's Transportation Improvement Plan.  If you have any questions about the sidewalk program, please contact Daren Grilley, Engineering Department, dgrilley@ci.seatac.wa.us
