Crime Reports

The purpose of sharing these reports is to help the residents of Angle Lake to become better informed about the criminal activity occurring within their neighborhoods so that better preparation and mitigating measures may be taken to help prevent crime from occurring.

Vocabulary and Abbreviations

• Burglary – theft that occurs inside a building when the victim is not present or believed to be present
• Robbery – theft that occurs inside a building when the victim is present or believed to be present
• Hiway Robbery - not a car-jacking but rather a robbery that does not occur inside of a building (could be a ‘purse snatching’, theft of a cell phone while victim is outside, etc.)
• NSC – non-specific category, followed by a threshold dollar amount
• TFB – taken from building (other than residence), followed by a threshold dollar amount
• TFA – taken from auto, followed by a threshold dollar amount
• F/E – forced entry
• N/F – no visible signs of force used
• OSA – outside agency
• SODA – order to stay out of known drug area
• SOAP – order to stay out of known area of prostitution
