Great Day for a Garden Tour

If you were able to participate in the Highline Historical Society Garden Tour this past Saturday then you already know how awesome the tour was.  If you weren’t able to attend, well then you missed a good one!
One Garden Tour Volunteer, Marge Murtha, reported from Becky Johnson’s SeaTac garden spot on Angle Lake that an estimated 140 very friendly and extraordinarily appreciative people came to visit her beautiful garden. The crowd included a lot of friends from her Master Gardeners Association, The Highline Garden Group and people from the area who had heard about it thru the "grapevine" so to speak. Becky gave away dozens of beautiful established tomato plants to many who attended.  And the best news of all was that her friend Cisco Morris stopped by to visit before his scheduled appearance at Furney's Nursery that day.  Marge said  "Becky did a beautiful job in preparing for this tour and was totally inspired by the response".

At the time of this writing,  indication is that Becky still has nine well established tomato plants she is offering for free, while supply lasts.  If you are interested claiming one or if you’re interested in joining other like minded gardeners in forming a neighborhood gardening group, please write to her at anglelakegardeners@gmail.com
